Our Story

We are Janette and Sue, we have been friends for around 25 years or so, in March 2020 we were supposed to open a cafe, but the world had other ideas and we pulled out of the cafe when lockdown happened.

Spin forward a few months and we were missing each other and baking, so decided to start Lavender and Thyme, working on the theory we could see each other as we were working together and we thought we’d be making and delivering a few afternoon teas a week, we were amazed at the response to our teas and spin forward 3 years and we are still amazed!
